Do you take your Polaris RZR XP Turbo through a lot of dusty conditions? If you travel to the sand dunes a lot or even through dusty trails, you're probably having to replace your air filter a lot and you're experiencing a loss of performance. Right here we have the perfect solution for you with the S&B Filters Particle Separator. Particle separators have been used in the military for their helicopters when landing in extremely dusty terrain such as Afghanistan and Iraq. S&B Filters decided to bring that advanced technology into the UTV world. How does it work? Dirty air is sucked into the 19 vortexes, which is then spun and the centrifugal force throws the dust against the outer tubes. This dirty air exits through the rear slot while clean air moves forward and into your air filter. Scavenge fans eject dust through the exhaust. These fans are rated for 50,000 hours in harsh conditions and draw only 3.1 amps. Now that you know how it works, lets talk about fitment. Billet clamps allow you to install the separator to either the upper or lower roll bars of your Polaris RZR XP 1000, making it truly versatile. No need to buy a special air filter, simply use your stock air filter system. A silicone tube attaches to the stock air inlet opening and the provided side cover replaces the frogskin. With this particle separator installed, you won't experience the power loss associated with a clogged air filter. Astonishingly, a stock filter system reaches capacity after only 74 grams of dust but by adding this, you ingest around 2,5000 grams of dust before changing your filter. Not only will you save money by not having to replace your air filter as often since you'll eject approximately 94% of the dust before it even reaches the filter, but since you're not running a clogged filter, you're engine can work easier.
